D.I.Y.: Goddess Chain Head Piece
Hey Fashion Lurkers,
I haven't posted a d.i.y. in a minute. I was inspired tonight by Draya Michele (Basketball Wives LA) to make a Goddess Chain Head Piece. I've been watching the show and I'm intrigued by Draya's head piece that she wears during her 101's with the camera on the show (lol). At 1st I was thinking maybe I should buy one, but then I thought, thats the easy way out...I will make it myself instead of paying $20 for some $2 chains.
I found a video on how to make it. This is a very simple d.i.y. to achieve. I will be heading to my nearest Micheal's Craft store for these supplies.
Check it out lurkers.....

You can easily get this look buy starting with a DIY of these jeans.......

DIY: Ombre Weave/Natural Hair
Hey Fashion Lurkers,
Since I have been posting all this Ombre stuff, I might as well find a video for you guys to watch just in case you want to try this look at home. Coloring weave is very easy. You can find all the tutorials on Youtube to help you. If this is your first time coloring hair with a dramatic color, please use weave first. Don't take that risk of messing up your natural hair.
Also, if this is your first time, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE REMY OR VIRGIN HAIR to get these results. You can use remy/virgin if you have it or that's the only hair you like. On the other hand, if you have 100% human hair or go buy some, you will get the same results too. 100% Human Hair is a lesser cost then remy and virgin hair.
* DO NOT USE SYNTHETIC OR BLENDED WEAVES*
I love projects, so if someone out there is like me then this will be a fun project to complete for yourself.
*TIP: If you don't want the whole bundle of hair red, then just put the red dye at the bottom of the hair where you want it to be red.

DIY: Studded Black Jean Jacket
Hey my "Fashion Lurkers",
Remember the DIY post I did about Rihanna's jean jacket? Well, I took a trip to the Goodwill and found this black denim jacket (over sized). The jacket cost me $8.00 even. I decided to use the rest of these studs I had from spikesandstuds.com and I put them on the right front chest area and the top of the back of the jacket.
After I was finished, my fingers were on fire from applying the studs. The studs I used were the nail heads with the 2 prongs on the back.

I used a butter knife to apply the studs. Youtube has some tutorials that will show you how to apply them.
These are the studs. They are the standard English 77.
The back of my jacket.
This is the front right side of the jacket. (Ignore my chain shades, I was just trying those on lol)

DIY: Tiger Ripped Denim
Hey Baby Lurkers,
Now, this is a cute and edgy look that ALMOST anyone can pull off in the spring/summer. These are a pair of slashed cut jeans (that appear to be bleached) that you can pair with a plain tank or tee, add some major shoe game and a great bag to complete the look. Make this a project for yourself.
Supplies that you Need: Jeans, Bleach, Scissors or Blade, Butter Knife, and a washing machine.
Recommend: Try pairing a neon colored accessory with this look like a shirt, shoes, jewelry, or clutch.

Get the Look: DIY Rihanna's Denim Jacket
This is a really easy look to achieve. And you can make this a project for yourself over Spring Break. Try making this distressed denim jacket that Rihanna is wearing. Jean jackets are a basic that everyone needs in their closet. So, go to the thrift store and buy a jean jacket so you can get started.
*WARNING-Please be careful when using sharp tools like knives, blades, and scissors. Also, stay in a well ventilated area when working with bleach or any other chemicals.

OOTN: Leopard Jumper & DIY Clutch
This evening I'm celebrating my boo boo's b-day with him and this is the look I decided to go for.
-Kimora
I'm wearing:
- Kelly Green Cardigan
- Leopard Harem Jumper
- Black Wedge Booties
- Denim Clutch
- Purple Lipstick
- Gun Mental Chain Hoop Earrings
- Silver Blinged Rings
- My nails are neon yellow
This is my denim studded clutch that I recently made. I made it out of an old pair of jeans that I had since highschool. I couldn't fit them anymore and they were my favorite jeans in highschool so, I turned them into a clutch.

Good Will Find: Sequin Jacket
I found this sequin jacket at the good will for $8. The Jacket was long (down to the hips) and I altered it and made it a cropped jacket for my wide leg jumpsuit that I will be wearing on New Years Eve.
I wanted to find a jacket like this one below and when I seen this jacket (above) at the goodwill, I couldn't pass it up. I got the look pretty close (the cut of the jacket is just different).

DIY: Fabric Fringe Hoops by Kimora
I was on Esty last night and stumbled upon these earrings on there for $15. So, I said to myself that I can make those, that's an easy DIY. All you need for this DIY is a pair of hoops ($1 at the beauty supply), some fabric (use an old shirt) and a pair of scissors.
This DIY idea would make a good inexpensive Christmas gift for your friends and family.
Me being silly!
Even the Heavens approve of this DIY...LOL.

DIY: Yandy Smith Studded Sleeve Trench
This is Yandy Smith from Love & Hip Hop (Jim Jones Manager). This pic is from her twitter profile and I found this coat to be FYRE.COM! I love the ruffles on the back; this gives the coat a feminine touch.
You can order some screw in spikes (ebay/esty) or some studs and put them on a trench from the good will if you don't want to use those little wooden tooth picks.
SOURCE: WHOWHATWEAR
Or, if you are not crafty then you can spend $200-$240 on these trench coats from Celeb Boutique.com

DIY: Studded Glitter Loafers by Kimora
I was inspired by the Sam Edelman Spiked flats that are below. However, I didn't want to pay the price (college student budget) of $150. So, I ordered some glitter flats from Go Jane and took a trip to Michaels craft store and bought 4 packs of black jewels (that look like studs from a far) and glued them to my shoes with E6000 glue and I have the results below. Overall I spent $30 for my DIY loafers.
