Rashidah Ali's Shoe Line Encore: Fyre or Failed?

Hey Fashion Lurkers,

I want to talk to you guys about Rashidah's shoe line, Encore. The Rashidah I'm referring to is the raspy voice red head who is from Love & Hip Hop New York season 3. She is best friends with Joe Budden's lost love, Tahiry.

Now, Rashidah has been labeled as a woman with a fraudulent past and I see why. Ok, my lurkers I'm not trying to throw shade on Ms. Ali BUT, home girl shoe line is pulling a Go Jane. She has knocked off every high end designer with her shoe silhouette choices and has the nerve to charge $200 plus. NO Ma'am! Not for a knock off. Her shoe line is nice but it's not original, and that's that shit I don't like. Give me something new to look at... Giuseppe already produced half of her line seasons ago. So, why would the consumer pay $200 for a knock off shoe that they can get from Go Jane.com for $24?  However, Rashidah will trick the ones who don't know any better. But this red headed schemer won't get me.

FAILED: Lance Gross Girlfriend

Hey Fashion Lurkers,

I hope I'm not just going crazy, but Lance Gross girlfriend Rebecca looks like she has been picked up from either a corner or the "lost and found". Trash, thats all I can say. She has way to much going on  here. Zebra shoes, metallic gold leggings, floral and leopard print swimsuit? I'm done. I love to mix prints but this was done  from a street walkers point of view. This is a total fail and I bet she is friends with Natalie Nunn. Enough said................

Fashion ???: Has Soulja Boy "OD'd"- OVER DESIGNER

Hey Fashion Lurkers,

I just don't get it when I look at this image of Soulja. Either he is just tacky as hell (no style whatsoever)  or he is on some serious drugs. Why would you wear Burberry, YSL, and Louis Vuitton while holding a Versaces shopping bag and all the logos and prints are noticeable? WE GET IT SOULJA, U HAVE MONEY. But it will be gone soon with all this "OD'ing" you doing.

Why do wealthy African Americans that live in Atlanta, GA feel that they have to be drowned in designer labels? Please STOP! Mix your lows and highs together so it won't be over done; that exudes real style. You just look silly. SMH And for who ever lives anywhere else and dresses like this, this is not ok for you either (you don't get a pass).

But really, if you are going to wear this much designer, I hope they are cutting you a check for being a walking bill board. Don't be free adverstisement; get paid for your services. LOL

Ok, yesterday I talked to you guys about Keisha Pulliam 33rd b-day party. Well, today I caught wind of Natalie Nunn (former Bad Girls Club member) being there to help Keisha celebrate. Lets just say, "HOW MUCH", cuz Natalie looks like a "hooker". There is no way for me to put this nicely. She just looks like a prostitute. But lets look on the brighter side, maybe this look compliments her character.

Amber Rose: Ready for War???

Amber Rose is one of my fashion go to's when I'm in need for inspiration. But this time Amber has let me down. She looks to be wearing a army fatigue Dickie's suit with an army green skull hat and a leather motorcycle vest. Despite this outfit being a hot mess, those shoes are to die for. This look does nothing for Amber's figure. It makes her look heavy or prego and like she just came from over seas working under the hood of a tank. Sorry Amber Rose but Wiz should have told you before you left the house that this is a total FAIL!

Angela Simmons: Pretty Woman "Street walker" Look

Overall, Angela bombed this look and NOT in a good way. She does not have the swag/confidence to pull this look off. I can see this look on Lady Gaga, Jessie J., even Amber Rose. But Angela??? No! Rev. Run needs to run to the alter and pray for his daughter cuz her wardrobe has hit its limit. This is just not you (Angela) boo boo! Try again, and as much as this hurts me to say this but, U HAVE FAILED!

Nerdglasses: Friend or Foe?

Ok, Ladies (guys are excluded b/c nerd glasses work for you) lets talk "Nerd glasses". I'm starting to notice that people are beginning to abuse this trend. Nerd glasses are already NOT flattering in anyway, so to pull off this look you must have Finesse (aka swag).

1. DO NOT wear "Nerd glasses" everyday, like I said they are not flattering. THE People can only take this look in moderation .
2. DO NOT wear Nerd glasses with club dresses...This is a fashion violation, your wardrobe does not match the geek look. Long story short, you look like a grandma going to the club.
3. If you do wear nerd glasses, wear them with a preppy or tailored look.
4. In the words of S. Dot...."Just flat out don't wear them!"  No LOL
5. If you don't have a youthful look (people always think you look hella old), DO NOT wear Nerd glasses because they make you look like a 60 year old woman.
6. NEVER, Wear the aviator Nerd glasses! They make everybody look like Joe Camel.

 BOTTOM LINE LADIES JUST STOP WEARING THE NERD GLASSES IF YOU ARE A VIOLATOR!

QUESTION: Now, what sewing machine stitch was used to make these braids on 50's head?

FAILED: Serena Williams "You Gotta Do Better"...SMH

OK baby lurkers, Serena below is sporting the leather trend BUT its a TOTAL FAIL. First, that wig is a "no no", big curly hair is not your friend. Secondly, that is way too much concealer under your eyes; who are you trying to be "Casper the Friendly Ghost"? Third, stop putting your lipstick on in the car while driving down the highway because clearly you can not color inside the lines (lip line). Lastly, ladies if you have an athletic build and your abs look like The Situation's (Jersey Shore) abs, then you know that if you wear a belly shirt it will cut you off and draw attention to how SQUARE  your waist is. You don't want to be shaped like a box so therefore you must cover that mid section with a pencil skirt (gives the illusion of a smaller waist).

With the offence of 4 fashion violations, I'm sorry but Serena Williams has Failed and is in jeopardy of being put on FASHION PROBATION.

When Real Goes Wrong .....FAILED!: Kimsha Artest

Baby Lurkers, yall already know why Kimsha failed in her look (above). Why would you come to an event knowingly that you will be on camera and dress this way. Let me break down on what she is doing WRONG!

Kimsha, Your hair is cool but your make-up is non-existent (no foundation but you are on camera), your dress is ill fitting (like its from Rainbow), your earrings are borrowed by a friend and you're a millionaire (so your friend had to side line save you but not really...still let you drown), you look a tad bit dry on the legs, and you have Rainbow flip flops on with Hammer toe (you can't get the feet done and wear some cute shoes?) Kimsha was only successful in looking "Hood"....straight out of Compton! (or South Jameica Queens)

Kimsha, as a wife "ON TV NOW"  you must represent for your husband. Why would you want to be a "HOT MESS"  on film for generations to generations to view?

Nicki Minaj's outfit represents a child's imagination gone totally wrong. According to the Huffington Post, "Girl is wearing an entire Toys R Us." LOL or she robbed one with the "Nurse Betty" paint splattered mask.

Katy Perry on the other hand, decided to go in a "themed" direction with the Asian-Inspired look. Katy P. this look did not pass. But she wasn't the worst on the Failed List.

Deena Nicole from Jersey Shore. Ummmmm, lets just say she should have left this dress at Party City when she had the chance. SAY NO NEXT TIME, cuz you were looking like a mexican pinata.
