New Do: Kimora's Blunt Chinese Bang & Pony Tail

Hello Fashion Lurkers,

Today is a beautiful day and I wanted to share with you guys my new look after my "ombre" affair. I wanted to go simple and  do something that I haven't done is about 6 years (since high school), a weave pony tail. Pony tails are a good look for the summer and are low maintenance hair styles. They keep you cool and dry due to the fact that your hair is pulled back away from your face, so you don't have to worry about weave all on your neck on hot days making you sweat.

I wanted to add a twist to this traditional look. I went to my Youtube.com Hair Bible and found a video on how to do the perfect Chinese bang. And I wanted more drama in my pony tail, so I bought a 24" pony tail by Say Me (synthetic blend human hair). It was $30. For my bangs, that was 100% human hair that I already had and my bangs where 10" but you can buy 8" if you want to do this look.

The reason I purchased the Say Me blended hair is because its just a pony tail and I do not need a $100 pony tail that's remy. That's just silly to me. The Say Me can be curled and flat ironed at 365* F.

In the youtube video, the girl in the video will start her bangs from the top, this may look weird but it works and it is very fast to complete. The girl did not use any gel or Roberts Diamond Hair Shield to protect her hair from the glue. * Please use a hair shield to protect your hair from glue or you will break your hair off by doing this method.**

I also used: Pump It Up Spritz , Sebastian Spray, & Black Ampro Gel

Get the Look: Kimbella's Hair Style in Dream Weaver

I noticed that my baby lurkers are loving the Kimbella look with the deep curled ombre hair. So, I decided to find another brand of hair for you guys who are interested in the Kimbella look from Love and Hip Hop 2.

The brand is Model Model Dream Weaver and this hair is Pre-Cut.
The Style is Water Deep in an 8 in. (length).
The color of the hair is T527.
You can find this hair at your local beauty supply who sales Model Model Dream Weaver.
Prices may vary in different states and countries.
To achieve the look of Kimbella with the curl texture, you must pull all those curls apart after your weave is intalled. Or your curls will look just like the lady on the box and you don't want that.

This picture below shows you the ombre effect clearly.

Quick Hairstyle for Less: $1 Bun

Want to achieve this look?
Well, you can. All you need is a $1 pack of jumbo braiding hair (synthetic hair/100% Kanekalon) from your local beauty supply. If you want a chic runway look or an elegant up-do that is "pocket friendly" versus a pre-made bun that will cost you $10 or more (for our college students who have tight funds) try this.
Application
S Dot pulled her hair up in the desired position for the bun and put her hair in a pony tail or ball (for longer hair). Use the best holding hair products for your type of hair (ex. gel, jam, pump it up spritz, etc.) and smooth your hair up with a hard brush. Then, you will take the braiding hair and begin to wrap the hair continuously around your pony tail/ball and bobby pin the hair in place until the hair comes to an end. S Dot only used 1 whole bag of synthetic hair. If you want the bun to be bigger use 2 bags.
