D.I.Y.: Goddess Chain Head Piece

Hey Fashion Lurkers,

I haven't posted a d.i.y. in a minute. I was inspired tonight by Draya Michele (Basketball Wives LA) to make a Goddess Chain Head Piece. I've been watching the show and I'm intrigued by Draya's head piece that  she wears during her 101's with the camera  on the show (lol). At 1st I was thinking maybe I should buy one, but then I thought, thats the easy way out...I will make it myself instead of paying $20 for some $2 chains.

I found a video on how to make it. This is a very simple d.i.y. to achieve. I will be heading to my nearest Micheal's Craft store for these supplies.

Poparazzi Earrings: Do they still have a Chance?

So, I was watching Love & Hip Hop 2 and I was just noticing how much everyone on the show is wearing the Poparazzi earrings (Just like the other house wife shows). And everyone in the STL is also wearing these earrings. Most of them wear them totally #WRONG. I just see them too much all around.  But I just wanted to ask my baby lurkers what do you guys think? 

Should Poparazzi earrings #LIVE or #DIE?
Are they the new hoop and we should just get use to them?

Get Close to the Look: Baseketball Wives LA Reunion

Here are some looks that I picked to channel your "inner" Basketball Wife. The Looks are affordable and are inspirations from the original looks that these ladies wore.

This look below is Imani and she is wearing a 2 toned sheer sleeved Robecca Torres Dress.

LHH, Now Jackie's Dress is a total fail but I managed to bring some good out of it if someone was interested.

This dress below is a more modern take on Jackie's dress. Jackie's dress looks like a school uniform with a fur scarf..lhh. You can get this for $79.90 at shopakira.com

Now, Here is Draya in this lovely geometric gator print sequin dress.

dorothyperkins.com has a gold sequin dress for $59. Other retailers like Forever 21 and Love Culture have some too but they look a little cheap.

This is Malaysia and her dress was $4,500...YIKES.

Shop ASOS for this $60.90 dress. If you want to look more like Malaysia with this dress below, you can buy a scarf and tie it in a bow around your neck (just a thought). Also, this dress comes in a variety of colors on ASOS.

Gloria in a Mariesa Irene Dress

This is Laura (Gloria's sister) and she is a fail also. The reason this dress does not work for Laura is because she has a "boxy shape" with square broad shoulders, so she should have not chosen a dress with exaggerated shoulders. Thus, making her look even more boxy.

The dress I chose is $39 at LuLu's  and this dress will flatter almost any body shape. For those of you who don't have a lot of curve to your body, this is a good dress for you. It will create an illusion of larger hips and a smaller waist.

When Real Goes Wrong .....FAILED!: Kimsha Artest

Baby Lurkers, yall already know why Kimsha failed in her look (above). Why would you come to an event knowingly that you will be on camera and dress this way. Let me break down on what she is doing WRONG!

Kimsha, Your hair is cool but your make-up is non-existent (no foundation but you are on camera), your dress is ill fitting (like its from Rainbow), your earrings are borrowed by a friend and you're a millionaire (so your friend had to side line save you but not really...still let you drown), you look a tad bit dry on the legs, and you have Rainbow flip flops on with Hammer toe (you can't get the feet done and wear some cute shoes?) Kimsha was only successful in looking "Hood"....straight out of Compton! (or South Jameica Queens)

Kimsha, as a wife "ON TV NOW"  you must represent for your husband. Why would you want to be a "HOT MESS"  on film for generations to generations to view?

Ladies, if you read this and you are dating or married to an athlete/celebrity or any other man too, "Why wouldn't you want to be fyre for your man and represent him well? "

Kimsha please step it up...because this is bad!
